Helping visitors re-discover the North York Moors
Recent PR successes
We've been working hard to secure some great coverage for the North York Moors and coastline over recent months so we thought we'd share some of those successes.
There's been a flurry of activity in recent months as we've been in the thick of things raising awareness of several great visitor happenings across the North York Moors and coastline.

Here though is a quick taster:
Arranging press trips
- We sent a journalist from Olive magazine on a food odyssey across the National Park - from Oldstead to Sandsend and back again.
- We've arranged for a blogger and journalist to reach for the stars and experience the beauty of the National Park's dark skies by going on a stargazing safari.
Announcing The Endeavour's spiritual homecoming to Whitby
We supported the team behind the purchase of HM Bark Endeavour, one of only two full-scale replicas of Captain Cook's expedition ship with the announcement of plans to relocate the historic vessel to Whitby.
It was a lovely story that grabbed widespread attention - coverage included the Yorkshire Post, BBC Look North, ITV, Northern Echo and Group Travel Organiser.
We boosted the pre-event coverage of the Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage by circulating details to the travel and lifestyle press.
Coverage in high-end publications such as Waitrose Weekend, Country Life and Town and Country meant that an audience of more than one million was reached.
We'll post further updates when we can (and when we remember!).
